On Friday, BRIndex30 opened at 27,404.30 points and remained positive throughout the trading session. It touched an intraday high of 27,856.62 points and an intraday low of 27,447.23 points and closed at 27,744.49 points which was 340.19 points or 1.24 percent higher than previous close. Total volume was 209,148,500, which was 60.32 percent of KSE All share volume and 164.24 percent of KSE 100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 346,705,570 and KSE 100 volume was 127,347,090.

BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 10,475.43 points with a net positive change of 48.42 points or a percentage change of 0.46 and a total turnover of 91,288,100 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 9,213.69 points with a net negative change of -2.4 points or a percentage change of -0.03 and a total turnover of 32,251,700 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 5,234.12 points with a net positive change of 58.32 points or a percentage change of 1.13 and a total turnover of 15,916,890 shares.

BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,633.84 points with a net negative change of -2.11 points or a percentage change of -0.13 and a total turnover of 17,206,500 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 7,891.36 points with a net positive change of 154.56 points or a percentage change of 2 and a total turnover of 25,571,400 shares.
